Salon des Amateurs

Nestled in the entrance wing of the Kunsthalle Düsseldorf on Grabbeplatz, Salon des Amateurs is an internationally revered sanctuary of adventurous, unconventional electronic music. Founded in the early 2000s by artists and academics, this intimate, unpretentious salon grew out of Düsseldorf's fertile art-school and Krautrock lineage, championing an open-minded musical philosophy far removed from commercial club conventions.
