Nitsa

Nitsa was born in 1993 and moved to Barcelona's Sala Apolo in 1996, becoming one of the clubs that established electronic music on the city's weekend calendar. The programme now moves across Nitsa and the smaller Astin room, connecting techno, house, electro and disco with more adventurous live and hybrid bookings.

Apolo's theatrical history gives the night a sense of occasion, but Nitsa's identity comes from continuity: residents, local collectives and international artists sharing the same Friday-and-Saturday framework over decades. The two-room format lets the booking breathe rather than flattening every artist into one sound. It remains a dependable place to hear Barcelona's club present in conversation with its history.
