Byscenen

Situated in the historic heart of Trondheim on Kongens gate, Byscenen is the city’s flagship live music and cultural stage. Housed inside a beautifully restored former public bath and theatre building originally constructed in the early 20th century, Byscenen underwent a comprehensive modern transformation to become central Norway's premier concert and event arena.

The venue features a magnificent 700-capacity main concert hall (Storsalen) with an elevated balcony, crystal-clear acoustics engineered by leading sound designers, and an adjacent intimate club stage and bar (Centrum). Byscenen hosts an exhaustive calendar of touring international rock, metal, pop, and electronic artists, as well as local breakthrough acts and comedy festivals.

When live concerts conclude on weekends, Byscenen frequently shifts into full dance mode, hosting massive club nights, themed retro discos, and student dance parties.
