About the venue
Nowadays combines a spacious Ridgewood yard with an indoor dance room, allowing the venue to function as neighbourhood gathering place, outdoor summer club and serious late-night room. The calendar ranges from free yard hours and Mister Sunday to Friday nights and Nonstop, when the indoor session runs continuously from Saturday night until Sunday evening.
Practical care is part of the design: water and earplugs are free, seating and quieter outdoor areas are available, and food returns after the deepest overnight hours. The result feels deliberate without becoming precious. Nowadays is strongest when experienced across its full rhythm—conversation and daylight outside, concentrated sound indoors, then the slow shift back into Sunday.
